Wawa choy, literally baby vegetable, are early harvest baby Napa cabbages. These young heads of cabbage have a similar flavor to their adult counterparts with a sweeter, milder flavor and mot tender leaves. Wawa choy is often interchangeable with napa cabbage but not vice versa.
Uses: Stir-fry with sliced pork, garlic, and mushrooms for a delicious main or side. Line the bottom of your plate with cabbage, add food, steam to perfection. Eat raw as lettuce cups with filling or dip.
