Oyster mushrooms are a type of edible fungus that is widely cultivated for its excellent flavor. These mushrooms have a mild and earthy flavor backed by strong notes of deep savoriness which some might even call oyster-like. These are whole cluster oyster mushrooms grown on wood which are lower in moisture content and stronger in flavor. These are great for a variety of uses but particularly for roasting or in soups.
Uses: Cook oyster mushrooms over high heat with a generous amount of butter, thyme, and garlic until well caramelized and tender.
