Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped street food that is made by cooking pancake-like batter in molded cast-iron griddles. They are stuffed with a variety of delicious fillings with sweetened red bean paste (anko) being the most common. Nichirei taiyaki is a homage to the original featuring golden brown cakes filled with red bean paste.
