Larry Ann plums are a stone fruit with a very limited season that starts in late March. These plums have a deep crimson skin hued with gold and a succulent tender flesh. Larry Ann plums are sweet, mellow, and fragrant with a slightly acidic skin. They taste of a sweet plum crossed with pomegranate, strawberry, and raspberry.
Uses: Plums are most commonly eaten raw but have equally great results when cooked. These stone fruits are particularly good when pickled in a mixture of equal parts sugar and vinegar.
