Daifuku mochi, also known as just daifuku, is a type of traditional Japanese confectionery (wagashi). It features mochi (pounded glutinous rice cake) with a sweetened bean paste filling. Kyoshin matcha daifuku features a green tea flavored mochi with two types of filling. The left side of the package contains traditional sweetened red bean paste (anko) while the right side contains matcha flavored white bean paste (shiroan). Daifuku is a delicious snack or dessert that is most commonly served with green tea.
