Bunashimeji, also known as brown beef mushrooms, have a beautiful turtle shell patterned cap with a delicious nutty and buttery flavor. It is firm and crunchy when cooked and also delicious raw. Hokto's mushrooms are grown in a soil-free environment and do not need to be washed.
Uses: Roast until golden brown with a generous amount of garlic, thyme, and butter. Add beech mushrooms to gently simmering soups or raw to your salads.
