Mingolos are one of the oldest cultivated varieties of mango with over 5,000 years of history. These mangoes are originally from India but are now cultivated in various tropic regions for their excellent flavor. These fruits are seasonally available from spring through early summer. Mingolo mangoes have a stocky and round shape with a vibrant yellow flesh that is packed full of sweet nectar. These fruits taste richly tropical with notes of yellow peach, valencia orange, and turbinado sugar.
Mingolo mangoes are ripe when soft and golden in color.
