Holland red chili, also known as dutch red chile, is a long and slender pepper that is commonly found in Western and Central Europe. They are moderately mild with a heat that ranges between 5,000 to 10,000 Scoville heat units. Holland red chili peppers have a brilliant red color with a sweet and fruity flavor with a hint of acidity. These chili peppers are excellent in dishes where the flavor of fresh eppers are desired without too much heat. It is the pepper of choice for many Malaysian, Singaporean, and Indian dishes as they are delicious raw or cooked. The white pith and seeds can be removed prior to use to reduce spiciness even further.
