Sangenton is a high quality pork that is a crossbreed of Large Yorkshire, Landrace, and Duroc pigs. It has a superb balance of both flavor and marbling to due its unique heritage. This Sangenton pork is classified as toumorokoshibuta: the pigs are raised on a special corn feed resulting in an exceptionally tender meat texture in addition to superb flavor. Pork belly is the most marbled cut of pork alternating between strips of sweet fat and marbled meat. This thinly sliced pork is perfect for hot pot, okonomiyaki, stir-fry, or nabe.
