Tofu, also known as bean curd, is made from coagulated soy milk. Tofu comes in a variety of different textures depending on the coagulant used and the amount that it is pressed. Soft tofu is pressed for a short amount of time yielding tender tofu.


Uses: Soft tofu is great for simmering, purees, and deep-frying.
