Sashimi Grade Kampachi (Greater Amberjack)

We're all sold out!

Kampachi, also known as kanpachi, greater amberjack or greater yellowtail, is a species of jack fish such as Japanese amberjack (hamachi). It has moderately firm, white flesh that is buttery and mild with a sweet, oceanic flavor. Our kampachi is farmed in the deep, clear waters of the Gulf of California.

These sashimi blocks (saku) are trimmed and ready for use in various raw or cooked preparations such as sashimi, sushi, or poke bowls. For best taste, we recommend eating it within 2 days or freezing it for up to two weeks.
