Cream guavas, also known as tropical yellow guavas, are a tropical fruit native to Central America. Guava have soft, edible seeds with a creamy white flesh that bursting with floral tropical fragrance. Cream guavas are sweet with distinctive guava flavor cut with notes of pineapple and passion fruit.
Uses: Guavas should be left to ripen at room temperature to intensify their flavor and sweetness. The entire fruit is edible but the seeds and peel can be removed relatively easily if desired. Guavas are naturally high in pectin and make for great jam, jellies, and fillings when cooked.
