Shrimp crackers are made using a base of tapioca flour and ground shrimp meat which, when cooked, yields a crisp and deeply savory chip that is bursting with flavor. These shrimp chips are raw and need to be fried in oil before consumption.
Uses: Preheat at least 3 inches of oil in a heavy bottomed pot until 325F. Fry shrimp crackers in small batches until crisp and puffed. Each cracker should take only a few seconds to cook.
Ingredients: Tapioca flour, shrimps, sugar, salt, eggs, baking powder (corn starch, calcium phosphates, diphosphastes, sodium carbonate), monoglycerides, flavor enhancer (monosodium L-glutamate, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate), stabilizer (sodium tetrapyrophosphate).
