Hosui Asian pears have a russet brown skin with a fine, crisp texture and sweet, fragrant flesh. They are refreshingly juicy and flavorful.
Uses: Peel pears before use. Eat raw or put into your salads. These pears pair wonderfully with a squeeze of lime. Blended Asian pears can be used in marinades to tenderize meat such as for kalbi or bulgogi.
