W. Murcotts, also known as honey tangerines, are one of the most popular varieties of citrus fruit and often referred to colloquially as simply mandarin oranges. These oranges are a hybrid of mandarin orange and king pomelo. Honey tangerines are oblong in shape with thin skin, remarkably little pith, and exceptionally good aroma and flavor. These oranges are predominantly sweet with a balanced acidity and a strong mandarin flavor with a notable honey-like aftertaste.
